Broomhill National Sculpture Prize 2011

I was one of the ten finalists in the Broomhill National Sculpture Prize 2011 exhibition. This piece called 'Fisk' is inspired by burial practices, namely mummification. 'Fisk' gets it's title from Almond.D.Fisk who patented the first cast iron casket back in the 1800's. His sealed caskets had a viewing window for people to see the deceased.  'Fisk' was highly commended during the competition.
